-A conversation with environmental landscaper David Mahler. Mahler was active with SDS in Sixties Austin and involved with the pioneering underground paper, The Rag. He was a founder of Austin's historic Greenbriar School, which offered a radical alternative to traditional education. He was a pioneer in habitat restoration and does wetland construction, native plant landscaping, education, and park and trail design. We discuss the Sixties underground press, alternative education, and habitat restoration and other environmental issues.
Host and producer: Thorne Dreyer. Engineer: Tracey Schulz.
